Laminate glass is essentially two pieces of float glass bonded together by a PVU interlayer. The primary purpose of this glass is to maintain security and integrity upon impact, by distributing the force of the impact across the glass surface, while the PVU interlayer holds the glass panes together, creating a distinctive “spider-web” appearance.

Laminate glass can usually be replaced on the same day, as our engineers usually carry this glass on their vans. However, large and/or thicker than normal panes will usually be a next day service, dependant on glass dimensions.
